By means of the Term Gold Deposit Account you get the opportunity to earn interest on your gold savings without incurring the risk of theft or loss.
In Term Gold Deposit Account, gold of 1 gram in 995/1000 purity corresponds to 1 XAU in value.
You can open your Term Gold Deposit account with at least 250 grams of gold and continue investing in increments of 0.01 grams.
You can open Term Gold Deposit account for maturities extending from 1 month to 1 year.
You can open a Term Gold Deposit Account by using the gold available in your Gold Deposit Account in addition to your Current TL Account.
Term Gold Deposit Account has the advantage of interest as grams in gold.
You can open Term Gold Deposit Account through our mobile banking application İşCep, Internet Banking Branch, Telephone Branch (0 850 724 0 724) or by applying in person to our branches.
The interest earned at maturity on Term Gold Deposit Account is subject to a Withholding Tax deduction of 15%.
WARNING
Within the scope of the provisions of the Regulation on “Deposit and Participation Funds Subject to Insurance and Premiums to be Collected by Savings Deposit Insurance Fund” published in Official Gazette dated 07.11.2006 No. 26339; up to TL 200.000 of the principal amounts of Turkish Lira, foreign currency and precious metal deposit accounts that are opened in the name of real entities at branches of loan institutions active in Turkey for purposes other than conducting commercial transactions except cashing cheques shall be within the scope of insurance including the total of any interest rediscounts pertaining to these accounts.
