Open Banking Award to İşbank from The Banker

İşbank was awarded the “Best Bank in Open Banking" with its API (Application Programming Interface) Portal at the “2026 Technology Awards" program organized by The Banker magazine, one of the world's leading publications.​

İşbank, focusing on technology, supports easy access to financial services for its business partners with the API Portal it developed in the field of open banking, contributing to the launch of innovative products and services. This approach of the bank was effective in winning the “Best Bank in Open Banking" award at The Banker's “2026 Technology Awards" program.

İşbank Deputy CEO Sabri Gökmenler expressed his satisfaction with the award they received with the Portal, which is an important indicator of open banking and embedded finance approaches, stating that the API Portal they launched in 2018 underwent a comprehensive renewal last year. Gökmenler continued his remarks as follows:
