İşCep named the world’s best consumer mobile banking app for the 4th consecutive time

İşbank won a total of 22 awards in Global Finance's World's Best Digital Banks & AI in Finance Awards 2026.

İşCep won the global 'Best Mobile Banking App' award in consumer banking for the 4^th time in a row, while the Bank was recognised as the best in Western Europe for its use of artificial intelligence in both payments and corporate banking.

The second-round results of the World's Best Digital Banks & AI in Finance Awards 2026, organised by international financial publication Global Finance, were announced at an awards ceremony in Singapore.

İşCep: the best mobile banking app in the world, Western Europe and Türkiye

İşbank won a total of 16 awards in the World's Best Digital Banks Awards, with İşCep named 'Best Mobile Banking App' in consumer banking globally, in Western Europe and in Türkiye. The recognition reflected the Bank's AI solutions, notably its AI-powered customer assistant Maxi; the user experience offered by its mobile banking app; its API infrastructure for lending and open banking; and its ongoing technology-driven initiatives in consumer and corporate banking.

6 more awards for İşbank in artificial intelligence

İşbank also won a total of 6 AI in Finance Awards: 3 in the Western Europe category and 3 in the Türkiye category. The Bank won 'Best AI in Payments' and 'Best AI Chatbots & Virtual Assistants' in both Western Europe and Türkiye. It was also named Türkiye's overall winner for AI in Corporate Banking. In the second round, it won the main regional category award as the Best Corporate/Institutional AI Bank in Western Europe, bringing İşbank's total to 22 awards.

'Smarter, faster, easier and more personalised banking every day…'

İşbank Deputy Chief Executive Sabri Gökmenler expressed his pride and delight at the awards recognising the Bank's digital banking and AI-focused initiatives. Gökmenler said the Bank would continue to make customers' lives easier through technology-driven initiatives, adding that it remained committed to providing practical solutions to the needs of consumer and corporate customers and expanding their access to financial services.

Gökmenler said: 'With this approach, we have transformed Maxi into an assistant that is always by our customers' side and can anticipate their needs. With our generative AI-powered customer welcome and investment assistants, we have raised user satisfaction to 82%. With the AI solutions we developed for incoming foreign currency transfers from abroad, we increased the proportion credited to customers' accounts within one hour from 10% to 70%, enabling more than 200,000 customers to access their funds faster.'

Gökmenler noted that İşbank continued to invest in AI and data-driven technologies in line with its vision of becoming the 'Bank of the Future', emphasising that these investments aim to deliver a smarter, faster, easier and more personalised banking experience for customers every day.
