İşbank has once again been recognized as Türkiye’s Best Private Bank

İşbank was recognized as the 'Best Private Bank in Türkiye' award at the 'Private Banking Awards' organized by Professional Wealth Management (PWM) and The Banker, both published by The Financial Times, a leading international publication in the finance sector.

Innovative hybrid private banking model: Co-private

Commenting on the award, Suat Sözen, İşbank Deputy Chief Executive, stated that they had experienced a successful growth in private banking particularly in recent years and cited the critical drivers of their success as the quality of services offered at specialized private banking branches, the success in asset management, the creation of dedicated space in Specialized Commercial Branches and, last but not least, the co-private model blending commercial banking expertise with private banking services. Sözen stated that they had been offering services at 13 Specialized Private Banking Branches and 20 co-private branches across Türkiye. "Our commercial branches used to focus on traditional services such as loans, foreign trade legislation and investment but have now become a rather holistic financial planning center due to this hybrid model. Accordingly, we offer our private banking customers a tailored one-stop shop for the management of their individual assets and commercial assets."

Sözen underlined that they made a highly effective use of technology to get to know their customers better and deliver the portfolio management that best suited their needs. He added that they aimed to provide the best personal asset management by offering the dynamic Private Banking Portfolio Management platform developed for customer relationship managers and customizing İşCep for private banking customers. Sözen also added the following remarks:

"It is particularly important to manage family assets in a way that involves the second and third generations. Therefore, guided by a future-oriented approach, we offer special funds for families and expand our environmental, social and governance investment package. We see family assets not only as capital but also as a means of realizing long-term family objectives and generating lasting social impact and leaving a legacy.
