Hakan Aran
Member of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
Born in Antakya in 1968, Hakan Aran graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Computer Engineering Department of the Middle East Technical University. He completed his master's degree in Business Administration at Başkent University and he is currently continuing his PhD in Banking at İstanbul Commerce University.
Beginning his career at İşbank as a Software Specialist in 1990, Mr. Aran was appointed as the Head of Software Development Department in 2005. He was promoted to the position of Deputy Chief Executive responsible for operations, digital banking and technology in 2008 and took part in important transformation programs of the Bank. Appointed as İşbank's 17th Chief Executive Officer on 01 April 2021, Mr Aran also serves as the Chairperson of the Credit Committee, Human Resources Committee and Information Technology Strategy Committee and as member of the Risk Committee and Operational Risk Committee.
N. Burak Seyrek
Deputy Chief Executive
Born in Ankara in 1970. Mr. N. Burak Seyrek graduated from the International Relations Department of Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences. He joined İşbank in 1990 as Assistant Specialist at Training Department. After serving in Corporate Loans Underwriting Division as Assistant Specialist, Mr. Seyrek was appointed as the Branch Manager of İşbank AG Filiale Frankfurt in 1998, Assistant Manager of Başkent/Ankara Branch in 2001, Manager of Ostim Branch in 2004, Director of Corporate Banking Sales in Ankara Central II. Region in 2007, Head of Corporate Banking Product Department in 2010, Head of Corporate Banking Sales Department in 2011, Head of SME Loans Sales Division in 2013, and as Chief Executive Officer at İşbank AG, which is a subsidiary of İşbank located in Germany. Mr. Seyrek was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive of İşbank on 25 March 2016.
Ebru Özşuca
Deputy Chief Executive
Born in Ankara in 1971. Ms. Ebru Özşuca graduated from the Economics Department of the Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences in 1992. She also holds a master’s degree in International Banking and Finance from the University of Southampton in UK. She attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2015. She joined İşbank as an Assistant Specialist at the Treasury Department in 1993. She served in the same department as an Assistant Manager and Unit Manager. After serving in Corporate Banking Product Department between the years 2007-2011, she was appointed as Head of Treasury Department. Ms. Özşuca was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive on 28 November 2017.
Ozan Gürsoy
Deputy Chief Executive
Born in Adana in 1974. Mr. Ozan Gürsoy graduated from the Public Administration Department of Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences. He also holds a master’s degree in International Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham in UK. He joined İşbank as an Assistant Inspector on the Board of Inspectors in 1996. Throughout his career, Mr. Gürsoy served in various units of İşbank and Gebze Corporate Branch of the Bank.
Sezgin Yılmaz
Deputy Chief Executive
Born in Kırcaali in 1975. Mr. Sezgin Yılmaz graduated from Uludağ University, Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics. Mr. Yılmaz started his career as an Officer at Bursa Branch in 1997. After serving in various positions in the Bank, Mr. Yılmaz was appointed as Regional Manager of SME Loans Underwriting Division in Kayseri in 2012 and Regional Manager of SME Loans Underwriting Division in İzmir Central I. Region in 2015. He then served as Regional Sales Manager of SME and Enterprise Banking Sales Division in İzmir Central II. Region, Support Services and Procurement Division Head, and Procurement Division Head in the respective order. Mr. Yılmaz, who was elected to İşbank Board of Directors on 29 March 2019, currently serves as Deputy Chief Executive.
Sabri Gökmenler
Deputy Chief Executive
Born in Ankara in 1968. Mr. Sabri Gökmenler graduated from the Computer Engineering Department of the Middle East Technical University in 1991 and completed his master's degree in the same department in 1995.
Mr. Gökmenler who began his career at İşbank in 1991 as a Software Specialist, has served in Softtech, a participation of İşbank, since 2004. He became the Head of IT Architecture & Security Management Division of İşbank in 2008 and Head of Information Technologies Division in 2012. Mr. Gökmenler attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2018 and was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive on 28 January 2021.
Sezgin Lüle
Deputy Chief Executive
Born in Trabzon in 1976. Mr. Sezgin Lüle graduated from Industrial Engineering Department of Boğaziçi University's Faculty of Engineering in 1998. He completed his master's degree in International Banking and Finance at the University of Birmingham in 2004.
Mr. Lüle began his career in Organization Division of İşbank as an Assistant Organization and Method Specialist at in 1998 and became an Assistant Inspector in the Board of Inspectors in 1999. He served as Assistant Manager and Unit Manager at the Board of Project and Change Management between 2008 and 2011 and became the Head of Enterprise Architecture Division in April 2017. He attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2019. Mr. Lüle was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive on 28 January 2021.
Can Yücel
Deputy Chief Executive
Born in Ankara in 1978. Mr. Can Yücel graduated from the Economics Department of the Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences and began his career at İşbank as an Assistant Inspector on the Board of Inspectors in 1999. He served as Assistant Manager at SME Loans Underwriting Division in 2008, Assistant Manager at Corporate Loans Underwriting Division in 2009, appointed as Unit Manager in the same division in 2011 and as the Head of Corporate Loans Underwriting Division in 2016. Mr. Yücel became the Branch Manager of Başkent Corporate/Ankara Branch in 2020 and was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive on 26 August 2021.
Sezai Sevgin
Deputy Chief Executive
Born in İstanbul in 1968. Mr. Sezai Sevgin graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences, in 1990. In the same year, he began his career at İşbank as an Assistant Inspector on the Board of Inspectors. Appointed to İşbank AG in 1997, Mr. Sevgin became an Assistant Manager at Paris Branch in 1998, and the Branch Manager in 2002 at the same branch. He was appointed as the Group Manager of Corporate Banking Marketing Division, Head of Commercial Banking Marketing Division in 2007, and Branch Manager of Gebze Corporate Branch in 2011 and Maslak Corporate Branch in 2013. He was appointed as the General Manager of Bayındır Healthcare Group in 2015. Mr. Sevgin was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive of İşbank on 28 December 2021.
Suat E. Sözen

Born in Kars in 1970. Mr. Suat S. Sözen graduated from the Economics Department of Gazi University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. He joined İşbank in 1991 as Assistant Specialist at Training Department. He was appointed as Specialist in Human Resources Division in 1998, as Credit Specialist at Yıldız Posta Boulevard Branch in 2000, and Assistant Manager at the same branch in 2002. After serving in Commercial Loans Division between the years 2004 and 2006, Mr. Sözen promoted to the position of Unit Manager in Corporate Communications Division in 2006, and became the Head of the same division in 2008. He became the Corporate Communication Coordinator and General Secretary in 2017. Mr. Sözen was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive on 25 March 2022.
İzlem Erdem

Born in İstanbul in 1968. Ms. İzlem Erdem graduated from the Economics Department of Marmara University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, in 1990. She attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2016. She joined İşbank in 1990 as Assistant Specialist at Economic Research Division and appointed as Assistant Manager in the same division in 1998. Serving in Capital Markets Division after 2000, she became Unit Manager in the same division in 2004. She was appointed as the Head of Economic Research Division in 2008, and started to serve as Chief Economist in 2018. She was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive on 25 March 2022.
Tufan Kurbanoğlu

Born in Kars in 1971. Mr. Tufan Kurbanoğlu graduated from the Public Administration Department of the Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. He began his career at İşbank as an Assistant Inspector on the Board of Inspectors in 1993. He was appointed as Assistant Manager in Commercial and Corporate Loans Monitoring and Recovery Division in 2002. He became a Unit Manager in the same division in 2006 and Regional Manager in Retail Loans Monitoring and Recovery Division in 2011. He served as the Head of Commercial and Corporate Loans Monitoring and Recovery Division since 2014. Mr. Kurbanoğlu was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive on 25 March 2022.
Mehmet Celayir
Deputy Chief Executive
Born in Bingöl 1970, Mr. Mehmet Celayir graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics, Department of International Relations. Mr. Celayir started his career as an Officer at Elazığ Branch in 1996. After serving in various positions in the Bank, he was promoted to the Branch Manager of Cizre/Şırnak Branch in 2004. He was appointed as Assistant Regional Manager of SME Loans Underwriting Division of Diyarbakır Region in 2006 and Regional Manager of the same division in 2009. He then served as Branch Manager of Mersin Commercial Branch, Head of Commercial Banking Sales Division and Branch Manager of Gaziantep Corporate Branch in the respective order. Mr. Celayir was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive on 14 December 2022.
