Security Applications

Device Identification
Device Identification is a feature which allows you to log into İşCep without using mobile approval code.

If you activate device identification feature, your username and profile photo for İşCep will automatically appear.​



​Both personal customers and commercial customers can use device identification feature.All you need to do to use it is to activate device identification feature at the stage of logging into İşCep.

During activation, you are offered two different options:

If you select the option "I want to log in İşCep only with this device", you can log in İşCep only with the device you activated, you will be prevented to log in İşCep from other devices. For other Digital Banking channels, you can continue to use other security applications.

If you select the option "I want to log in İşCep with other devices, too", you can also continue to use İşCep with other devices using other security tools. You can activate device identification in 3 different mobile phones. To deactivate device identification feature, go to the "Registrations on the Device" and "Registered Devices" under Settings menu. You can also cancel the activation by calling our Telephone Branch on  0 850 724 0 724.


​If you lose your mobile phone on which you activate Device Identification feature or if your mobile phone is stolen, we recommend you to call our Telephone Branch on 0 850 724 0 724 and cancel the Device Identification activation.​

If you change your mobile phone, we recommend you to install İşCep on your new phone and to activate Device Identification feature. 
 
One customer can use the Device Identification feature utmost in three devices. In one device, Identification feature can be activated for a total of six customers, being three personal and three commercial customers.


​What is Device Identification and what is it used for? 

Device Identification is a feature which pairs mobile device on which the app İşCep is used with the mobile device data. Device Identification defines to our system the devices used by our customers through İşCep app. 

You will be able to see your name on İşCep just like on your card. 
 
You can also add your photo. If you are logging into İşCep via mobile approval code, you can log in İşCep only with your interactive Banking PIN after activating Device Identification feature.

What should I do when my mobile device is lost/stolen? 
You can cancel device identification and pin by contacting our customer representative in our telephone branch at 0 850 724 0 724.

For how many customer numbers can I activate Device Identification in the same mobile device? 
You can activate device identification feature for three personal and three commercial customers on the same mobile device. 

For personal or commercial customer, on how many devices can I activate Device Identification? 
You can activate Device Identification feature in three different devices for one personal or commercial customer.

Can I still use İşCep using a mobile confirmation code? 
For devices on which you activated Device Identification for your customer number, you can log in using only your pin without needing mobile confirmation code. 

If I activate Device Identification feature for my Customer Number, can I still log in İşCep from other mobile devices? 
If you activate Device Identification feature with the option "I want to log in İşCep with other devices, too", you can log in İşCep from other mobile devices too.

Can I cancel persons (customer numbers) defined in the mobile device? 
After you logged in İşCep, you can cancel the customer numbers defined in your device by going to "Definitions in Device" under Settings.

Can I cancel the mobile devices on which my customer number is defined?
After you log in İşCep, you can go to "Other Defined Devices" under Settings, and cancel the devices on which your customer number is defined. You can also cancel by contacting a customer representative in our telephone branch at 0 850 724 0 724.


Mobile Key

​Mobile Key is one of our free apps which is designed for mobile devices and generates "One Time Password".


You can also use the mobile key to withdraw money without a card from "Cardless Transaction" via Bankamatiks, while you can use the mobile key on Internet Branch, Telephone Branch and İşCep channels.​


​Mobile Key is included in İşCep which is our mobile banking app.  If İşCep is not installed on your mobile phone, you can download this app by entering www.isbank.com.tr/indir on your internet browser. 


Following the installation, you will have to activate Mobile Key to start using it.  All you need to do in order to activate Mobile Key is to create your 6-digit Mobile Key code by entering relevant details after logging into Mobile Key menu on İşCep.

If you are using both Personal and Commercial Internet Branch or using Commercial Internet Branch for multiple companies, you can log into using the same Mobile Key. 
 
By following "Mobile Key > I am a Mobile Key User" tab under "Settings" menu in Personal and Commercial Internet Branches, you can define the same Mobile Key both for Personal Internet Branch and all commercial companies for which you are defined as user.

Commercial Internet Branch users may use different Mobile Keys for each company's Commercial Internet Branch or a common Mobile Key.


​We recommend you to cancel your Mobile Key by calling our Telephone Branch at 0850 724 0 724 if you forget or lose your mobile phone or if it is stolen.​

We recommend you to install İşCep app on your new phone and to activate Mobile Key. The Mobile Key which you installed on your previous phone will be deactivated if you change your mobile phone once you complete the activation.

If you enter Mobile Key Code incorrectly for five times or if you forget your code, you will need to re-activate it.


Mobile Approval Code

​Mobile Approval Code is a One Time Password sent via SMS or “Instant Message (Push Notification via İşCep)” to your registered mobile phone, as part of our security application which you can use on our Digital Banking Channels.


In any case, the verification codes sent as Instant Messages can be accessed from the ‘Messages’ menu after clicking the bell sign on the upper right corner of İşCep application.

If you are not using our İşCep application; you will continue receiving Mobile Approval Codes and Internet Shopping Passwords as text messages (SMS).

It will be sufficient if we have your phone number in our system in order to use Mobile Approval Code.
 
You do not need to make any application or to install.

If you do not use advanced security tool (Mobile Key), you will be asked for a 6 digit mobile approval code when you login to the Internet Branch.

What Should I Do to Receive Mobile Approval Code by Push Notification via IsCep?

It is sufficient to
• Have the current version of IsCep installed,
• Open IsCep notifications,
• Login IsCep for once after the application is activated,
in order to receive mobile approval code by push notification via IsCep instead of text messsage(SMS).

In which channels can I use the Mobile Approval Code or Internet Shopping Password sent via Push Notification?

You can use Mobile Approval Code or Internet Shopping Password sent via Push Notification when 
• You login to the Retail and Commercial Internet Branch, 
• You apply for Instant PIN both on the web site of Isbank, www.isbank.com.tr, and on Telephone Branch, 
• You shop online (TROY GO), 
• You make transactions via  Call Center.

Text messages (SMS) will be sent in the transactions made via İşCep (Login, Instant PIN, Mobile Key activation and defined phone management) and Maximum Mobile (Login and Instant Password) applications.

We will continue to send SMS for certain transactions within the framework of our security policies, in case instant message cannot be sent for technical reasons. The same content may be sent both via SMS and instant message in some cases. 

​Make sure your current mobile phone number is registered in our Bank's system.

Mobile Approval Code is for personal use only. Avoid sharing your mobile approval code with people you know or third parties by means of e-mail, SMS, chat programs, Facebook and similar channels or by reading text on the phone.
​I use a mobile key as an advanced security tool. However, I could not use my mobile key because my phone no longer supports IsCep. How can I login to the Internet Branch?

First of all, you need to deactivate your mobile key over customer representative by calling 0850 724 0 724 Telephone Branch. Then, you can make your banking transactions by logging into the Internet Branch with the mobile approval code which is used as a one-time password.

I can not get a mobile approval code. Why not?

When you change your SIM card or move your mobile phone number to a different GSM operator, the sending of the mobile approval code is blocked due to the line change.

This application is valid for our customers who are the subscribers of Avea, Turkcell and Vodafone, while the customers who are the subscribers of a different GSM operator abroad are not covered.

I'm using a phone that supports Android. What should I do if my Mobile Approval Code and Internet Shopping Code do not reach by Instant Message?

• Make sure that the current version of İşCep application is installed.

• Make sure that notifications are allowed for İşCep application.
Tip: In older versions of the Android operating system, notification setting changes can be made after selecting the relevant application from the / Settings / Applications menu. In newer versions, ‘Settings / Notifications’ ’menu can be done after selecting the relevant application.

 • Check if your phone has internet access via mobile network or wireless network connection. If in Airplane mode, turn it off. In addition, it may be possible to block notifications in corporate wireless networks used in the workplaces. In such cases, you can access the instant messages in the “Messages’’ menu after clicking the ringer. 

• Whether or not to display sensitive content while your phone is unlocked can be set in the / Settings / Notifications menu. You can change this setting if you want an instant message to be shown when your phone is locked.

• If data saving mode is enabled, you may be prevented from receiving Instant Messages. For this reason, you can exit İşCep application from data saving mode by using / Settings / Connections menu. 

• Power saving modes restrict background data, and users can receive notifications only when the phone is in use. Switch your phone out of power saving mode so that Instant Messages can be seen on your screen.   You can use the following menus to turn off power saving mode on major phone models. For Samsung phones using the Settings / Device Care / Battery / Power Save Mode menu, By activating the Settings / Battery & Performance / Application Battery Saver / Select Application / BusinessPocket / No Restriction option on Xiaomi brand phones, Using the Settings / Battery / Battery Saver menu on Generale Mobile phones, For Lenovo phones, go to Settings / Power manager / Battery Saver, For Huawei phones, you can turn on Settings / Battery / Power Save Mode.

I use a phone that supports iOS. What should I do if my Mobile Approval Code and Internet Shopping Password do not reach by Instant Message?

• Make sure that the current version of İşCep application is installed.

• Make sure that notifications are allowed for İşCep application.
Tip: On mobile phones with IOS, you can make notification settings changes after selecting İşCep from the Settings / Notifications menu.

• Check if your phone has internet access via mobile network or wireless network connection. If in Airplane mode, turn it off. In addition, it may be possible to block notifications in corporate wireless networks used in the workplaces. In such cases, you can access instant messages from the ’’ Messages ’’ menu after clicking the ringer.

• Whether or not to display sensitive content when your phone is unlocked can be set in the Göster Göster Settings / Notifications / Show Previews ’’ menu. You can change this setting if you want an instant message to be shown when your phone is locked.

• Instant Message sending may be blocked if Telefon Do Not Disturb ’etkin mode is enabled on your phone. Therefore, if this mode is “on” in your phone, you can turn it off “in” / Settings / Do Not Disturb  menu.​
