Credit Card Payment Protection Insurance for Credit Card Holders By İşbank and Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik
İşbank and Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik provides credit card holders “Credit Card Payment Protection Insurance”. Debts of İşbank credit card owners are under guarantee with monthly paid premium amounts. Credit card debt which is occurred before the realization of the risk is paid in the name of our customers in case of unemployment, loss of life, total and permanent disability, temporary disability or hospitalization.
Last abstract of account debt (including installments regarding future months in the abstract of account) are under guarantee with Credit Card Payment Protection Insurance in case of unemployment of salaried employees. Retired costumers working full time and continuously can utilize from the same guarantee in case of unemployment. The same guarantee is given for self-employed persons and civil servants in case of temporary disability. Nonworking retired people and housewife can utilize from the same guarantee in case of hospitalization. Moreover, the credit card debt is paid in the case of loss of life, total and permanent disability.
Credit card debt is taken under guarantee up to 5,000 TL per a credit card within the scope of this implementation. Insurance premium amount is covered as 1% (one percent) of the sum of the account abstract debt and the future installments that are not reflected in the account statement yet. No premium payment is made if there is no credit card debt.
To utilize from the guarantee in the scope of Credit Card Payment Protection Insurance, customers should apply to Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik by documenting risk realization. (The call center number is 444 55 00.)
To utilize from unemployment guarantee:
Passing of 90 days following the effective date of the policy (if the policy is renewed next year, the period is not applied)
Unemployment or temporary disability has to be lasted for 30 days continuously and hospitalization has to be lasted for 7 days continuously as of the date of the risk.
For salaried employees working with employment relation for the same organization for at least 6 months before the date of risk realization is required. Also registering to Turkish Employment Agency is required after the realization of the risk.
Credit Card Payment Protection Insurance can be implemented for at most five İşbank credit cards. Moreover, additional cards will be taken within insurance scope in case of application of main card owner.
Application for Credit Card Payment Protection Insurance can be made via all İşbank Branches and via online banking.
