In the “Top 1000 World Banks” survey of The Banker, one of the most prestigious finance and banking magazines in the world, Isbank ranked 102nd in the world, as the biggest bank in the region as well as in Turkey. In this ranking, Isbank achieved the position of being the largest Bank in the Middle East region including Israel, and Egypt in terms of Tier I Capital.

In its July 2007 issue, the Banker Magazine published the results of the “Top 1000 World Banks” survey, where rankings were made in terms of Tier I Capital, according to banks’ consolidated financial statements as at 31.12.2006. With its USD 6.8 billion Tier I Capital, as defined by Basel’s Bank for International Settlements (BIS), Isbank ranked 102nd in the world. According to the rankings of the Banker Magazine, which is marked as one of the most prestigious publications in the banking world, Isbank has the largest Tier I Capital both in Turkey and in the Middle East.

Due to its fast and healthy growth performance Isbank, left Czech, Romanian, Polish, Ukrainian, Israeli, and Egyptian banks behind, together with even some well-known western banks.

Maintaining its domestic position of being the biggest financial institution in Turkey with its steady, balanced and healthy growth rate, Isbank is paving the way for being an international financial institution whose power and extent goes beyond Turkey.
