Financing for Migros Acquisition is from Akbank, Garanti Bank,
Isbank and Vakıfbank The Consortium formed by Akbank, Garanti, Isbank and Vakıfbank has extended Project Finance for acquisition of retail giant, Migros, by Moonlight Perakendecilik and Ticaret A.Ş. controlled by BC Partners with minority investors DEA and Turkven. Additional financing will be provided by same bank consortium needed for mandatory call and total financing will reach nearly half of the purchase price. On 13.2.2008 share purchase agreement had been signed for purchase of %50.83259 shares owned by Koç Holding at Migros. Following the fullfillment of all legal and administrative procedures, transfer of shares has been realised. According to the statement released by Banks, the importance of financing underwritten totally by Turkish Banks required other than equity portion in such a large acquisition has been pointed out.
