Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş., in cooperation with Association of German Pfandbrief Banks (Verband Deutscher Pfandbriefbanken-VDP) will be the host of the “11th Central European Covered Bond Conference” on 8-9 November 2007 at İstanbul İş Sanat Kültür Merkezi.

The new legislation on covered bonds in Europe, the public supervision on covered bonds and the strategic considerations regarding funding of mortgages will be the main subjects to be dealt with during panel sessions of the Conference.

VDP has realized such series of conferences in different countries in cooperation with local banks or financial institutions so far and it is expected that there will be a high number of participation from various international and local banks and financial institutions in the 11th Central European Covered Bond Conference hosted by Isbank this year.
