Unemployment insurance to their credit card users from İşbank and Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik İşbank and Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik are now giving unemployment insurance service which they provided for cash, car and housing loan customers, to credit card users with ‘credit card supportive insurance (unemployment insurance). The debts of İşbank credit card users are now held covered with the premium amounts paid every month from the expenditures. In cases of unemployment, loss of life, permanent and total disability, temporary disability or disablement due to hospitalization, credit card debts are paid on behalf of the customer. İşbank is holding covered their wage-working customers’ insured credit card’s latest account statement debt including the installments related to next months in case of unemployment. The same assurance is also given to independent business owners or civil service officials in case of disablement due to disability. Customers who work part time or constantly can also benefit from the same assurance in case of hospitalization. Their credit card debts are also paid in case of loss of life, total and permanent disability. Credit card debts are assured up to 10.000 TL per credit card within application. Insurance premium amount is collected as 0, 5 % of account statement debt. Moreover, we provide 50 TL worth stable assurance for default interest and limit excess. If there is no credit card debt, we do not make any premium payment. It is necessary for our customers to apply to Anadolu Pension by documenting that the risk has happened in order to be able to benefit from assurance within Credit Card Support Insurance (Unemployment Insurance). In order to be able to benefit from Unemployment Insurance: - 90 days need to pass since the beginning of the policy ( this period is not applied in case of policy’s renewal next year)
- The unemployment, temporary disability or hospitalization needs to last 30 days constantly,
- It is necessary that the employment lasted at least 6 months before the risk had happened.
The permanent unemployment or hospitalization needs to last at least 30 days as well. Credit Card Support Insurance (Unemployment Insurance) is valid for maximum five İşbank Credit cards. Besides, additional cards will be insured in case of an application from the main card’s owner. Credit Card Support Insurance (Unemployment Insurance) application can be done on İşbank branches. Company credit cards, Dealer Cards, Visa Classic Abroad and İş’te Üniversiteli cards cannot be insured.
