Our Procurement PracticesProcurement activities and purchases of goods/services in İşbank are carried out within the framework of the ‘Procurement Policy of İşbank’ that sets forth the founding principles and the internal regulations constituted in line with the said policy. In the procurement processes of support services, in addition to the ‘Procurement Policy of İşbank’, procedures and principles declared in Risk Management Program regarding support services purchases that is approved by the Board of Directors are taken into account.Supplier selection process in our Bank is carried out in compliance with commercial practices in a fair, honest, just and unbiased manner. In case of a violation, the related companies are excluded from the procurement process.In procurement decisions, factors other than price are considered as well. In the decision making process, factors such as market intelligence, technical and financial adequacy, morality, commercial reputation in the market and experience are taken into account for the companies. With respect to goods/services that will be purchased, factors such as quality, standard compatibility, environmental impacts, technological level, warranties, maintenance, repairment and technical support conditions are considered. In procurement processes, research and evaluation that are needed within this scope are carried out meticulously. Firms that are deemed to have undesired characteristics are not included in the candidate firms list. Payments to suppliers are made within the framework of our Bank’s internal regulations regarding procurement and only for the purchase of legal goods/services.
