İŞBANK GERMANY OPENS 17TH
BRANCH IN MÜLHEIM, COLOGNE.
The Bank’s international service network
continued to expand with the opening of
the Mülheim, Cologne branch of İşbank
Germany, the Bank’s banking subsidiary. The
Mülheim branch commenced operation in
December as the 13th branch in Germany
and the 17th across Europe.
İşbank pursues operations with 17 branches
in Germany, France, Switzerland, the
Netherlands and Bulgaria via its banking
subsidiary İşbank Germany, based in
Frankfurt, and with 13 branches in Russia
via its financial subsidiary İşbank Russia,
based in Moscow. İşbank’s cross-border
organization was staffed by more than 800
employees at the end of 2012.
REORGANIZATION IN THE TURKISH
REPUBLIC OF NORTHERN CYPRUS
The TRNC organization was restructured
during the first half of 2012. The TRNC
Directorate, with which all the branches in
the TRNC are affiliated, was set up.
Within the scope of its international
expansion to reinforce its robust domestic
service network, İşbank intends to continue
with its activities, targeting markets offering
potential with a particular focus on those
countries where Turkish entrepreneurs
trade intensively, and to bolster its regional
presence in 2012.

İşbank’s vision in alternative distribution
channels is to be “Turkey’s best multi-
channel bank.” İşbank’s goal is to be the
bank closest to customers and to offer
the best in service by making a difference
with solutions that make life easier for its
customers and with innovative technological
products.
In 2012, the Bank consistently worked
to upgrade its channel capabilities and
customer experience in line with its vision.
The projects realized shared the following
two objectives:
•Enabling customers to quickly perform
the banking services they need through
whichever channel is the most appropriate
and easily accessible to them
•Ensuring that products and services
are delivered to customers in a simple
enough way to make life easier, based
on an innovative and creative approach
and through extensive use of advancing
technology.
INSTANT BANKING – THE NEW NAME
FOR THE ALTERNATIVE DISTRIBUTION
CHANNELS COMMUNICATION SEGMENT
In 2012, communication and promotion
activities for alternative distribution
channels carried out under channel names/
brand names such as Bankamatik (ATMs)
and more generic descriptions such as
interactive banking have been restructured
under a single “umbrella name,” Instant
Banking.
The term Instant Banking has been
introduced to refer to all current and future
alternative distribution channels at İşbank,
and customers have been informed of this
new terminology.
