In addition, the Privia website,
com.tr, provides information and practices
in connection with private banking, along
with detailed information on current global
lifestyle trends. The website also has a
facility for online purchase of airplane
tickets.
COLLECTION OF DATA REGARDING
CUSTOMER PREFERENCES AND TASTES
With a view to contributing to non-financial
product and service development that
meets the diverse expectations of private
banking customers, İşbank began collecting
personal preference and non-financial
tastes and likes data in 2012. Using this
database, İşbank Private Banking hosts its
customers in various cultural, art, cinema
and sports events that are compatible with
their areas of interests and preferences.

In 2013, İşbank Private Banking will continue
to work towards increasing the diversity of
innovative investment products with a focus
on yield optimization, in line with customers’
needs and expectations.
Within this framework, the Bank will

İŞBANK PRESERVED ITS LEADERSHIP
BY A LARGE MARGIN IN THE ISE BONDS
AND BILLS MARKET IN 2012.
İşbank increased its trading volume to
TL 3.1 trillion in 2012 on the ISE Bonds and
Bills Market from TL 1.5 trillion in 2011. In
a leading position for many years, İşbank
is ahead of its closest competitor by 7.8
percentage points with its trading volume
share of 22.7%.
İŞBANK IS THE MARKET LEADER IN
BANK BONDS AND BILLS ISSUES.
The Treasury’s reduced borrowing
requirements since 2011, the greater appeal
of alternative financial instruments due to
depressed interest rates, and a search for
other ways to create resources have led to
an accelerated increase in private sector
bonds and bills issues in 2012.
In order to create long-term resources
for itself, to diversify its existing funding
structure and to offset its short-term
risk exposure, İşbank issued 14 series of
domestic bills/bonds of different types and
maturities with a total nominal value of
TL 7.7 billion.
Claiming 20.3% share of all issues in the
sector in 2012, the Bank maintained its
leading position. The Bank is the leader by a
large margin of 7.4 percentage points over
its closest competitor, with a 21.2%market
share on the basis of issues in circulation as
of year-end 2012.
THE LEADER IN GOLD TRANSACTIONS
The amount of gold held by İşbank’s gold
deposit account and investment account
customers totaled 40 tons at the end of
2012. Leading its closest competitor by
three percentage points in gold deposit
account customers’ balance, İşbank is the
sector’s leader with a market share of 15.5%
as of year-end 2012.
