İşbank identifies regional and seasonal
requirements and desires of firms based
on the results of reviews and assessments
carried out in the field as well as at
headquarters. The resulting findings play a
large part in distinguishing the products and
services offered within the service cycle.
Within the framework of its efforts
to accurately and effectively fulfill its
customers’ financial needs, İşbank
introduced the following products in 2012:
• “İmece Kart” provides access to
commercial loans provided for financing
the input needs used in agricultural
production; payment due dates can be
arranged in alignment with harvest times,
and interest-free repayment options are
provided for certain periods,
• FC Policy/Bond Rediscount Loan by way of
Guarantee by Other Domestic Bank,
• Domestic TL/FC Letter of Credit
Rediscount Loan,
• “Interchange Financing” provides
financing to dealerships for vehicles
received via interchange,
• Workplace Loan within the scope of the
Urban Transformation Law,
• The 2/B Loan to meet the borrowing
needs of customers under the law
governing the sale of land formerly
classified as forest and state-owned
agricultural land.

İşbank also provides tailored solutions to
its customers in a variety of sectors that
it actively supports via funds transfer and
provision of banking services.
Even within a juncture where the global
economy is undergoing a rapid change
and rebalancing process, İşbank’s
headquarter and field teams continued
with comprehensive customer visits; as a
result, the teams identified the needs of
approximately 160,000 customers on site
last year and quickly responded to them as
necessary.
“İŞ’LE BULUŞMALAR” MEETINGS
In addition to the customer visits program,
“İş’le Buluşmalar”, covering information
sharing and consultancy activities, were
held in the cities of İstanbul, Mersin, Sivas
and Şanlıurfa in 2012.
INFORMATIVE SEMINARS IN
INDUSTRIAL PARKS
During 2012, a new series of events were
launched under the title “Seminars at İş” in
an effort to help support the healthy growth
of SMEs and to give them competitive edge.
Particularly focusing on Industrial Parks (IP),
the seminars address key topics of concern
to the commercial sector such as the New
Turkish Commercial Code, Basel II and III,
exchange, investment and investment
incentives, public grants and funds, and
economic forecasts and developments. The
2012 seminars were conducted in Adana IP,
Bursa Demirtaş IP, İvedik IP, Kayseri IP and
Dudullu IP.
SIX NEW INTERNATIONAL AWARDS FOR
THE ‘İŞ’TE KOBİ’ WEBSITE
The number of members of İşbank’s İŞ’TE
KOBİ website,
, reached
48,000 at the end of 2012. The website is
followed closely by commercial companies,
particularly SMEs.
In 2012, İŞ’TE KOBİ received 6 new awards,
bringing the total number of awards to 27.
An innovative application under İŞ’TE KOBİ,
SUNUMATİK won five new awards, bringing
the number of awards granted to nine.
İşbank foresees that commercial banking
will continue to be a driver of the
Turkish economy in 2013 and thereafter.
Accordingly, the Bank will consistently
continue with its product offerings in the
commercial banking segment.
