Within the scope of activities directed
toward expanding the international
service network, İşbank opened a
branch in Batumi, Georgia in July
2012, and one in Prishtina, Kosovo in
December 2012.
İşbank Germany, the Frankfurt-based
financial subsidiary of İşbank, opened
the Mülheim, Cologne branch in
December, increasing the number of
branches in Germany to 13 and the
total number of branches to 17.
İşbank also continues to build on its
domestic service network. İşbank
increased the total number of its
domestic branches to 1,231 and
remains the leader in this aspect
among privately-owned banks. With
the number of its ATMs up to 4,851,
İşbank brings service to its customers
through Turkey’s most extensive ATM
network.
İşbank continues to improve product
and service diversity offered through
alternative distribution channels,
consistently expanding transaction
volume in these channels: the
percentage of transactions conducted
through İşbank’s alternative
distribution channels rose to 74.8% of
total transactions.
As of end-2012, İşbank provides
service with 24,411 employees at 1,231
branches in Turkey and at 19 branches
in other countries.
